MAX QUALIFIES FOR BRITISH U-21 FINAL

MAX Clegg showed his class in the British U-21 semi-final at Eastbourne’s Arlington Stadium as he comfortably booked his place in the U-21 final to be held in the next few weeks.

Clegg comfortably won his opening two rides before suffering his only defeat to Zach Wajtknecht after a delay in proceedings due to a heavy shower but Clegg bounced back to win his final couple of rides and finish on fourteen points.

Wajtknecht, was beaten by James Shanes in heat 15 of the meeting leaving both Wajtknecht and Clegg tied on fourteen points with Clegg being awarded second place on count back.
