ATKIN REMAINS A POTTER

Thursday 11 January, 2018
VETERAN rider Tony Atkin will return to Loomer Road for a third successive season having agreed terms for the 2018 campaign with the Potters.

Potters promoter Dave Tattum commented “Tony is very popular with supporters and enjoys it here at Stoke and we are delighted to have him in the side for next season. Tony is invaluable within the pits as well as on track and leads from the front and is a real team player who also keeps calm under pressure and that is brilliant for the younger lads when things aren’t quite going your way. Tony is a consistent scorer both home and away and his experience will be invaluable.”

Atkin comes into the Potters line-up on a 6.95 average as the A.R. Richards Potters now have just two places remaining to fill.
