NEWCASTLE V POTTERS (PL) - PREVIEW

Saturday 29 May, 2010
WITH no action at home for the Stoke Easy Rider Potters on Saturday the Potters are next in action on Sunday when they make the trip to the North East to face the Newcastle Diamonds in the Premier League.

Stoke team manager Malcolm Vasey expects a tough meeting against the Geordie outfit saying “Newcastle are a very good side this season especially around their home track. The Diamonds have easily qualified from their Premier Trophy qualifying group and have started well in the league and they have some very good riders in Kenni Larsen and Mark Lemon and the rest of the side seem to have clicked for them also. We do expect to have Taylor Poole back in the side for the meeting and we are going there looking to get something out of the meeting.”

The Potters have drafted in Berwick’s Michal Makovsky as a guest for Jason Bunyan while they will use rider replacement for Klaus Jakobsen.

The Diamonds are led by Kenni Larsen and Mark Lemon who form a formidable heat leader duo for the Diamonds while Rene Bach, Jason King and Derek Sneddon all provide good back up to the top two as they all score steadily around their home circuit. At reserve the Diamonds have Adam McKinna and Dakota North.

Newcastle: Mark Lemon, Derek Sneddon, Jason King, Rene Bach, Kenni Larsen, Dakota North, Adam McKinna
