WELLS NAMED FOR DAVE TATTUM MEMORIAL MEETING

RICKY Wells is the latest rider to be announced for the Stoke ‘Harvey Tyres’ Potters Select team to take on the Newcastle Diamonds in the Dave Tattum Memorial Trophy.

Wells has joined the Berwick Bandits for the 2022 campaign last rode for the Potters back in 2010 and the American has held down a British team place ever since.

Wells has ridden for Coventry, Wolverhampton, Belle Vue, Rye House, Workington, Edinburgh, King’s Lynn, Leicester, Poole, Sheffield and Glasgow over the past eleven seasons’ and is looking forward to putting on a Stoke race jacket once more.

He joins Steve Worrall, Ben Barker, Leon Flint and Joe Alcock as named riders for the meeting which takes place on Sunday April 3rd at the Brough Park Stadium.

Joint team manager of the Potters Lloyd Tattum commented “The side is coming together nicely and I hope to be in a position to be able to name the rest of the side by the end of this week in readiness for what I hope will be a very competitive meeting against the Diamonds on Tyneside.”
