STOKE’S National League meeting against Plymouth at Loomer Road on Saturday evening has been postponed.
Heavy rain early this morning on Friday and some late afternoon showers plus a forecast for further rain overnight and on Saturday left the Potters promotion with no alternative with Dave Tattum commenting “We had some heavy downpours early today and that had already left the track extremely wet and further showers late this afternoon hasn’t helped. We’ve checked the forecast and there are further showers expected overnight and more tomorrow (Saturday) and there is also weather warning in force for the Newcastle area for the next 24-hours so we’ve taken an early decision to prevent riders and supporters traveling.”
