POTTERS LOOK TO CLIMB LEAGUE TABLE

Friday 28 June, 2019
STOKE look to continue where they left off last week as they entertain Cradley to Loomer Road in the National League on Saturday night, 7pm.

The Heathens have had the better of the Potters over the past few seasons’ but the Potters have been boosted by their victory over Mildenhall last weekend and team manager Adam Isherwood believe the Potters can get a win over the black country side saying “Thee is no doubt that Cradley have some very good riders in their side such as Max (Clegg) Daniel Halsey who has ridden well here in the past and Kyle Bickley who comes in as a guest for Jack Smith but, the Heathens have a long tail end this year and have also lost a couple of matches at home recently the last one being against Leicester a few weeks back. In that meeting Tom Perry and Joe Lawlor were guesting for the Lion Cubs and both scored well and they will be looking to continue that form into Saturday’s meeting as do the rest of the team and I’m sure that Shelby (Rutherford) will want to prove a point against them having rode a couple of matches for them in the past. So, I’m looking to gain victory over the Heathens and hope to send them back to the black country with nothing from the meeting and keep the momentum going for ourselves as we look to move up the league table.”

Cradley have former Potters number one Max Clegg who is in impressive form this season and also top scored when guesting for Mildenhall last week with 16-points. He will be well supported by another Loomer road track specialist Daniel Halsey who has found his form this year after a couple of disappointing seasons’ while Kyle Bickley comes in as a guest for Jack Smith who is on Championship duty with Redcar. Luke Harris and Tom Spencer complete the Heathens top five while at reserve they have recently signed Sheldon Davies and youngster Harry McGurk.
