STOKE Speedway wish to advise supporters of the decision to postpone Saturday’s Three Team Tournament at Loomer Road.

The decision has been taken due to the weather conditions of recent days, and the forecast for the remainder of the week, which has made it impossible to put heavy machinery onto the track to bring it back into peak condition for speedway racing.

The club do not want to risk the reputation of their much-improved circuit from the closing part of last season and our opening meeting of 2019 by running an event in potentially sub-standard conditions.

We are fully committed to running the meeting featuring the Potters and teams representing Buxton and Crewe, and it will now take place on Saturday May 25.

We trust supporters will understand that we want to give them the best possible speedway viewing experience, and the change of date for this fixture will enable us to do that.

The next meeting at Loomer Road is on Sunday May 12 when the A.R.Richards Potters host Kent in the National League.
