STOKE are delighted to announce that Lawrence Fielding has joined the backroom staff at Loomer Road as commercial manager.

Fielding will join forces with Gaynor Boulton who has done the role over the past couple of years and the Welshman is delighted to be linking up with Gaynor and the Potters in his new role.
Fielding, has plenty of speedway experience as a rider and club chairman of Carmarthen Dragons who race at the Chesterton circuit in the Midlands Development League and has been a regular throughout last season and during the close season helping out with work parties to get the stadium ready for the 2019 season.

Fielding commented “I’m looking forward to what is a new role for me within the sport and I’m excited about the challenge and have already started approaching companies large and small in order to get the ball rolling as we look to turn things round for Stoke. I’m aware it won’t be easy, but there is a positive vibe around Stoke Speedway both with the management, riders and supporters alike and I’m looking to help put Stoke on a positive footing.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved with the club with packages for everybody whether it be a small, medium or large company and I’m looking forward to taking on the challenge.”

Potters promoter Dave Tattum said “I’m delighted to welcome Lawrence Fielding aboard he has a great passion for the sport and has done a lot up here over the past year and I’m delighted that he has accepted the position, it will also help Gaynor Boulton who has been doing the role over the past twelve months as she has a lot of other things that she deals with behind the scenes.”
