VASEY LEAVES POTTERS

MALCOLM Vasey has resigned as team manager and co-promoter of Stoke Speedway as the veteran team manager and administrator makes the move to Suffolk and links up with National League rivals Mildenhall.

Vasey, has spent nine seasons with the Potters and the move sees’ him link up with the Tigers at West Row which is closer to home.

Stoke promoter Dave Tattum commented “I’m sorry to see Malcom move on, but Mildenhall is a lot closer to home for him and I know along with many others the travel to Loomer Road took a lot out of him. I’d like to wish Malcolm well in his new role at Mildenhall and would like to thank him for all his help over the past nine year’s here with the Potters as he has worked hard attending meetings as co-promoter and helping to assemble teams and find guests to cover as and when injuries have occurred.”

Stoke will announce the clubs new team manager in due course.
