PERRY SIGNS FOR POTTERS

Saturday 01 December, 2018
STOKE are delighted to announce the signing of Tom Perry for the 2019 season and joins the club after spending last season with the Belle Vue Colts.

Perry who has recently moved to the Potteries area links up with the club after taking some guest bookings for the Potters last season and has always been a popular visitor to Loomer Road. Perry has won the National League title a number of times firstly at Cradley in 2014 and then twice winning the title back to back with Birmingham in 2015-16 and he has also won a Championship medal with the Somerset Rebels in 2013.

The promotion who have been putting the team together said “We are absolutely thrilled to get Tom (Perry) or board for 2019 he will be a valued asset to the club with his experience in the sport and he is a winner as his record shows. The supporters here at Stoke enjoyed his appearances for the club as a guest last season and he quickly became a fans favourite, he has never let us down and is a delight to work with. As Dave (Tattum) said in his comments looking back on last season our change of fortunes came about when Tom first guested for us and the team didn’t look back from then on and we cannot hide our delight in getting Tom Perry to Loomer Road for next season.

On signing for the Potters Tom Perry commented “I’m over the moon to have agreed a deal to come to Loomer road. The promotion here have been chasing me for a number of seasons’ but I didn’t feel it was quite the right move for me at the time and now I feel the time is right and I’m excited to be part of the set up for 2019. I’ve spoken to both Dave and Caroline over the past few weeks and I feel that what is planned for the Potters next season will bring supporters back to Loomer Road.
“For one reason or another thing’s haven’t quite clicked for Stoke over the past three or four seasons’ and I really feel the team that is being assembled will give strength in depth to the team and see Stoke battling for honours next year.

I’ve recently moved to the Potteries area and I’m looking for sponsorship in the Potteries and Newcastle Under Lyme area and I’d be interested in hearing from any local companies for individuals who would be interested in sponsoring me in the 2019 season. I’m looking to order my Kevlar’s in the next month or so and companies interested in having their name on them are most welcome and I have various sponsorship packages available. Anyone that is interested in sponsoring me can contact me via my social media pages or via the club’s press office email address: -email-
