STOKE entertain Plymouth Devils in the Travel Plus National League at Loomer Road on Saturday night, 7pm.
The Potters have bagged a couple of points on the road since beating Birmingham a fortnight ago despite being brought down to earth with a hammering at Eastbourne last weekend. Potters skipper Max Clegg said “We have a belief we can get something out of every meeting and confidence has been gained throughout the team. The result of Birmingham a few weeks showed what we can do and we’ve since picked up points against Coventry and Plymouth and we will be looking to add to our points tally against Plymouth in the return on Saturday.” The A.R. Richards Potters again have the popular Tom Perry guesting for Tony Atkin while continuing to use rider replacement for Rob Shuttleworth.
Plymouth also will be using a guest for the injured Ellis Perks with former Potter Ben Wilson who is now riding for Buxton coming in as a guest. The Devils will also use rider replacement for another former Potter in Tim Webster. Wilson will gain some good support from their skipper Henry Atkins while another former Stoke rider in Ryan Terry-Daley has a good run of form for the Devils and has added to his average for the season with Richard Andrews who has himself been in good form completing the Devils top five. At reserve the Devils have Macauley Leek and Tom Spencer.
