STOKE look to continue where they left off at Plymouth on Friday night when they make the trip to Sussex to face the Eastbourne Eagles in Travel Plus National League action, 7pm.

The A.R. Richards Potters have drafted in the Isle of Wight’s Danno Verge at No1 to face the Eagles while it remains rider replacement for Rob Shuttleworth. Potters team manager Malcolm Vasey said “Eastbourne is always a place where nobody wishes to go and that is summed up with how many riders we have tried to get to guest for us in this meeting. It is a very tight and tricky track to ride on and the home riders are zoned into it and it gives them a massive advantage, but we will go there to do a job and if we can grab something from the match then we most certainly will do.”

The Eagles are led into action by Georgie Wood and Tom Brennan two talented youngster who form a solid partnership at the top end of the team and they are supported by Jason Edwards and guest Kelsey Dugard with the Eagles using rider replacement for Mark Baseby. Ethan Spiller and Charlie Brooks take the reserve berths as the Eagles look to push their way into the league play-offs.
