MAX Clegg finished third in the prestigious Golden Hammer meeting at Cradley’s home Monmore Green on Monday night.

Clegg opened the meeting up with three second places before reeling off two victories to take third place on countback from Belle Vue’s Tom Perry, the meeting was won by Birmingham’s Tom Bacon who romped to a 15-point maximum with Mildenhall’s Danny Ayres taking second place a point behind.

Rob Shuttleworth scored 3-points and David Wallinger scored 2-points.
