KENT v POTTERS - PREVIEW

Sunday 01 July, 2018
STOKE get back on track as they make the long trek to Central Park to face the Kent Kings in Travel Plus National League action, 6.30pm.

The Potters have already been to the Kent track having been beaten by the Kings in the first leg of the KO Cup as a series of misfortunes led to the A.R. Richards Potters losing out 56-34.

The Kings have a powerful heat-leader trio in veteran skipper Luke Bowen, Jack Thomas who doubles up with Championship side Glasgow and Nathan Stoneman. They are well supported by Taylor Hampshire and the ever-improving Anders Rowe with Jacob Clouting and Alex Spooner completing the Kings septet.

The Potters will be at full strength for the clash and joint team manager Adam Isherwood commented “We are looking for a much better result this time around. There is no doubting that Kent are a good side especially at home and surely we cannot have as much bad luck as we had the last time we were here as everything that could go wrong did go wrong and we didn’t deserve to lose by that score line so we are looking forward to battling away and hopefully we can come away with something from the meeting.”
