STOKE make the short trip into Derbyshire to face the Buxton Hitmen for the second time within the space of 24-hours in the National Trophy at Hi-Edge Raceway, 3pm
The A.R. Richards Potters will be looking for a quickfire double over their local rivals and have plenty of experience of the Hi-Edge circuit with Max Clegg, Tony Atkin, Paul Burnett and Adam Extance all being former Hitmen riders. The Potters will await news on William O’Keefe before making a decision on the reserve spot and will operate rider replacement for Rob Shuttleworth.
Potters boss Adam Isherwood said “We are looking for a similar result to Saturday night, we have riders in our team that you could call track experts around Buxton and we are looking for a favourable result against them but I have no doubt that they will be smarting after tonight and looking to return the favour on us and hopefully for us they won’t get the sort of performance out of their guys that we’ve had out of ours and we are looking for a good result there.
Buxton will be looking to see how Corban Pavitt will be before making a decision on him once he has had x-rays done and have drafted in Anders Rowe as a guest for David Wallinger who has been taken ill while they will use rider replacement to cover the absence of the injured Connor Coles.
