STOKE open their Travel Plus National League campaign as they make the trip to Suffolk to face highly fancied Mildenhall at West Row on Saturday night, 7.30pm.

The A.R. Richards Potters are still looking to their first win of the season after two losses and come up against a young Tigers side who many pundits feel will win this seasons’ title. The Tigers surprised many people releasing Connor Mountain and Jon Armstrong from last seasons’ septet and have put together a side of exciting racers that are led into action by Josh Bailey, Danny Ayres and youngster Jordan Jenkins. Ryan Kinsley is capable of back the top three up around the West Row bowl with Sam Bebee completing the top five. At reserve the Fen Tigers have Drew Kemp and Matt Marson.

The Potters will be at full strength for the clash and boss Malcolm Vasey said “It’s going to be a very tough meeting as Mildenhall are a team full of youthful and exciting riders and you cannot spot a weak link in their line-up but anyone can have a bad day at the office from time to time and we have to hope that they do against us on Saturday. We have riders that go well around West Row well and we will be going there to give it ago and see what we can get out of the meeting.”
