STOKE A.R. Richards weather woes continue as they build up to the new season with the news that Saturday’s press and practice day has had to be postponed.

Potters promoter Dave Tattum commented “I know it’s disappointing for supporters and riders but due to the weather over the last few days and the forecast of further rain on Saturday we’ve made the decision to call Saturday off. We are attempting to arrange the press and practice day sometime next week and will let everyone know in due course.It’s not been the best of starts for speedway in general this year with the amount of postponements that have taken place over the past few weeks and we’ve been a victim of this with our practice days.”

The Potters will take to the track though on Sunday afternoon weather permitting when the Potters travel to Leicester’s Beaumont Park circuit to face the Coventry Bees and a preview of the meeting will be released in due course.
