STOKE A.R. Richards Potters have completed their team which will take to the track for the 2018 season with another new signing.

The Potters are delighted to welcome Sam Woods as the final piece of the jigsaw to complete the Potters septet for the new season. Woods spent last season with Mildenhall after previously riding with Kent and the Rye House Raiders where he was part of the Raiders team that took victory in the Four-Team Championship. On signing for the Potters Woods said “I’m looking forward to riding for Stoke this season as it’s a track I’ve always enjoyed riding and hopefully I’ll do a good job which I know I am capable of doing and score some good points for the Potters and my aim is to put points onto my average.”

Signing Woods means the Potters have just two of last seasons’ side back as promoter Dave Tattum has revamped his line-up for the 2018 season with Tattum saying “I’m pleased that we have Sam on board he is someone we have been keeping tabs on over the past year or so and he also contacted us wanting to ride for Stoke this year. I’m looking forward to this coming season we have revamped the side and do have a younger line-up than in past years and I really believe that most are capable of putting points onto their average this season and I’m delighted that we have a team in place and ready to go with riders now able to concentrate on getting ready for the season.”
