STOKE have made an early decision to postpone their scheduled double header against the Isle of Wight and Buxton on Sunday afternoon.

Potters promoter Dave Tattum commented “The track is still extremely wet and soft despite our efforts throughout the week. We had a good day on the track yesterday with the weather which helped us but the rain overnight has left us back to square one and we are just going to run out of time to get the track right as it’s still very soft due to the weather.”

The Potters management have moved swiftly to rearrange the fixtures and they will take place on Saturday 21st October with the start time to be confirmed.

Tattum said “The date was scheduled to be a date for stock cars but their promotion has agreed to swap their date to the 22nd October and we would like to thank them for their co-operation in this.”
